i just spent my last hour browsing through blogs of sas people, namely, daryl chia, rico ong, marcus sia and ben chew. read daryl's and marcus's posts the most attentively because, mainly, the fonts were large.
so i browsed through marcus's blog first. same old blogging style about how this and that, mostly about his school work and his cca, rugby and st johns. okay, i will follow my pledge and not bitch about him but he dedicated an apology post oh his lousy performance in his recent rugby training and when i read it, i was feeling err err (cannot bitch) weird. i remember the last time i saw him passing and catching a rugby ball which was last year? and pardon me if im wrong but i can clearly see that his handling with the ball isn't fluid?
see the ??? ? it meant that im in doubt so the paragraph above isn't counted as a bitch.
so let talk about daryl's post! haha. i feel much relaxed now.
and now, there's absolutely NO BITCHING in this. chia is nice and thumbs up! he's all emo, lovey dovey to his gf and confident about changing in his blog. but what i couldn't understand was the hatred towards acs!
okay, i see, in his post, he talks mainly about how sore he was and still is about losing to ac last year in the rugby finals. i can understand that being a saints rugger since pri 3 to sec 4 and saint's rival has always been acs could have churned up such a deep disliking towards acs. everyone might think it's alright and everything but not me.
correct me if im wrong but upon seeing two sides of the picture, i realised that this 'hatred' has been indoctrinated to every rugger in st andrews to the point that when they see an acsian, they will immediately squirm in disgust or confront the other guy mindlessly. gangsterism in sas is prevalant.
i'll drop by two examples! one from the acs side and the other from sas side.
let's start of with acs.
so i was talking to wes and doug wong ( rugger) after assembly about the b division rugby fianls against raffles while walking to our classes. so doug was telling me about one of his A div team mate ( lets call him A) kicked a water bottle through the rugby post but unfortunately, it landed on one of the sas ruggers. so A apologized profusely and the matter was at rest BUT the friend of the sas rugger was angry and headbutted A. then another ac team mate went over and smacked the sas rugger... sorry, i walked off to my class!
so as we can see here, gangsterism is innate! as both parties fought back but we can see here that the st andrews guy's "gangsterism level" is more developed.
moving on to the example from the sas side.
so then, i was a 4sa student in happy sas, say 2007. hahaha. my teacher didnt come to school so we had the st andrews veteran, mr. yee teck peng, as our sub. the first thing he did was to spread anti-acs feelings to the class and then, joel john and i were quite pissed off with st andrews (called sas the hypocrite school HAHAHAHA) and this is what he said, i'll summarise it for you guys.
mainly, he was trying to say that when sas was playing a match with another school, acs boys came and taped the match which was played within sa grounds but when sas boys tried to tape the match of acs and another school played in acs itself, they were chased away. oh my shit la. like even if ac was in the wrong, a teacher or rather a mentor should not impart such unlawly thoughts or stories to the students.
after all, both schools are misson schools and are in fact christian schools even though one is a methodist while the other is an anglican. these schools should instead work together for the glory of God? haha. like in the rugby match, play well and after the match, thank the opponents, give them hugs, kisses, touches..... going too far, but you know what im trying to say right!
i shall petition to stop this on-going unhealthy rivalry. HAHAHA.
this post is such an acs vs sas post. if my comments link can be seen for each post, i tell you, there bound to be a number of pissing sas people swearing like dogs and using the word,"traitor" widely. and for the acsians, im not sure? they might say it's bullshit to work in harmony?
